Deborah Ivey
It is with broken hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Deborah Ivey on Sunday April 22, 2018, at home.
Born in North Sydney on December 19, 1953, she was the daughter of George and Sadie (Jessome) LeBlanc.
Deborah loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. They always brightened her day. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing computer games.
Deborah is survived by her loving children; Jason, NB, Shawn (Samantha) NB, Gary (Amanda) Sydney, along with 10 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren. Sisters, Catherine (Edward) Skinner, Helen (Earl) Drake, Ann (Arch) Osmond; brothers, Bud (Mary) Pero, Nelson (Jane) Pero, Wayne (Mary) Pero and many nieces and nephews; best friend, Lydia Pitts and a special niece, Mary Blinkhorn.
Besides her parents, Deborah was predeceased by sisters, Theresa, Mary, Lorette, and Annette.
Visitation for Deborah Ivey will be held on Thursday, April 26, 2018, from 1-3 p.m. in the JM Jobes Funeral Home, 635 Main St. Sydney Mines, with a celebration of life to follow at 3 pm. With Fr. James Oliver officiating.
