Agatha 'Gatha' Kelly

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Agatha (Gatha) Kelly at the Glace Bay Hospital on April 24, 2018 at the age of 92.
Born in West Louisbourg (Old Town), she was the daughter of the late John and Evelyn (Cryer) Kelly of Old Town.
She was a resident of Seaview Manor in Glace Bay for the last two years and former member of Stella Maris Parish, Louisbourg. She was also a member of the CWL and Altar Society.
Gatha enjoyed special times with her family and was a big fan of Bingo and music.
She is survived by her sister, Theresa (the late George Kehoe), Louisbourg; nephews, Brian (Beth) Kehoe, Catalone, Leonard (Judy) Kehoe, Louisbourg; grandnephew, Adam (Jolene) Kehoe, Windsor N.S.; great-grandniece, Georgia; grandniece, Ainslie (Seif) Elgebeily, Sydney River and great-grandnephews, Zayn and Zeyad.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, William and Matthew, as well as special friend Billie.
Visitation for Gatha will be held Sunday, April 29th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Stella Maris Parish, Louisbourg.
A Celebration of her Life will take place the following day, Monday April 30th at 11 a.m. in the Parish with Fr. Evo DiPierro to officiate.
