We regret to announce the passing of David Porter, age 68, on Thursday, April 26, 2018, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in St. John, NB, on April 4, 1950, he was the son of the late Jean (Leslie) Porter and Roy Porter.
David was a family man who cherished every moment he spent with them. He also had a great love for music.
He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia (Jobes) Porter; his daughter, Stacie Porter (Adam); his granddaughter, Emily, and brothers, Les (Joanne), St. John, and Donnie, Alberta.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, John.
At his request, there will be no visitation or funeral.
