BOYLAN-HARTLING, Carol Lynn - Age 57, Berwick, Kings Co., left to go home to the Lord on Saturday, April 28, 2018, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville, after a hard-fought battle against cancer. Born in Kentville, she was a daughter of Audrey (Drew) Boylan and the late John Boylan. Besides her mother, Carol leaves behind her husband, Dale Hartling; children, Katie (Scott) Mealey and Mary Belliveau; stepchildren, Traci (Lem) Bezanson, Jeff Hartling, former husband, Paul Belliveau; brother, Kevin (Deborah) Boylan; sister, Gail (Shane) Spicer; nephews, Christopher (Taylor) Boylan, Andrew Boylan; step-grandchildren, Selena Hartling, Angel Kane, Dylan Hartling, Jacob Hartling; step-great-grandchildren, Ariel Hartling and Carena Spencer; along with many loving extended family. She will be sadly missed by her furry friends, dogs, Margo and Ben; cat Sammie. Besides her father, she was predeceased by son, Alexander Belliveau in infancy. Carol was a thoughtful person who always did whatever she could to put a smile on someone’s face. She made the world a better place through her hard work and dedication not only to whatever she worked on, but to the people it involved. Carol loved her family with all that she had and was a pillar of strength and compassion for all of them. She dedicated her life to making the world a better place, especially in her hometown of Berwick, where she worked in the recreation department. Carol delighted in seeing everyone in the community happy and if something needed to be done, she was the one who could always do it. She was a proud member of the Waterville Baptist Church. Funeral service to be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 4, in Waterville Baptist Church, 1243 Mill St., Waterville, with Pastor Christina Bigelow officiating. A Celebration of Life reception to follow at the Berwick & District Lions Club.
