Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, St. John’s, NL, with husband David by her side, on Thursday, May 3, 2018, Veronica Marie (Walsh) Hillier in her 82nd year. Born in St. John's, NL, She was predeceased by parents Edward and Angela (Fowler) Walsh, brothers: Jack, Bernard, Mike and Ed (Gandy), and sisters: Kitty Greening, Mary Soik, Bernadette Blair and infant sister Margaret. Leaving to mourn are husband David, daughter Stephanie Prest (Warren) and son Jason Hillier (Leslie). Also leaving to mourn are seven grandchildren: Jordan, Josh, Ashleigh, Bradley, Olivia, Joelle and Noah; two great-grandchildren: Mason and Elliahna; brother Patrick Walsh; and many nieces, one great-niece, nephews and cousins. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Rd., St. John’s. Visitation will be Saturday, May 5th, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and Sunday May 6th, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be at St. Patrick’s Church, Patrick St., St. John’s on Monday, May 7th at 9:30 a.m, with interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
