Born in St. John’s, NL on March 7, 1933. Passed away peacefully on May 4th 2018 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa Hospital. Left to mourn are his loving wife Clara and daughters Kim (Everett Leach), Jennifer (Thomas Lam), Donna (Richard Cam), Donna (John Pickard), Lori (Scott Heron) & son Gary (Louanne) and sisters Marie Dean (CA) and Marguerite Godfrey (St. John’s). Grandchildren: MacKenzie, Bradley, Carrie, Michael, Lisa, Jennifer, Jacqueline, Matthew, Christopher, Robyn, Stephanie, Jordan & Lucas. Remembered fondly by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by: Parents Leo & Gladys Carew. Sisters: Helen Maloney, Jean Vokey, Ruth Penney, Joan Noseworthy, Bernice Grant. Brother Albert Carew. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. at the McEachnie Funeral Home Chapel on Friday May 11, 2018. If so desired Memorial Donations may be made to the Cancer Society.
