Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family on Monday, May 7, 2018, at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital. Winston Briffett, age 75 years was predeceased by his parents Richard and Eloise Briffett and his sister Bernice. Winston leaves behind with fond and loving memories, his wife of 53 years, Elvie (nee Horlick); his children Gary, Greg (Kristi) and Tracy (Jason); his grandchildren Joshua, Joel, Ashley, Tyler, Victoria, Max and Jacob; his brothers and sisters Orvan, Gus (Ruby), Geraldine (Jack) and Maisie (Lyndon); special extended family Sandra Perez as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, on LeMarchant Road. Cremation has taken place. Visitation on Tuesday from 2-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 9, 2018, from Caul’s Chapel. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Winston’s memory may be made to the St. John’s Dialysis Unit.
