George Clayton McKee

It is with sadness that we, the family, regret to announce the passing of George Clayton McKee, on Sunday, May 13, 2018, at Wentworth Court, Harbourstone Enhanced Care, in Sydney, with his family by his side.
Born on February 27, 1949 in North Sydney, he was the son of the late George and Dorothy (Collins) McKee.
George spent most of his adult life living in Toronto before moving back home to North Sydney ten years ago.
George is survived by his sister, Mary Lou (Gary) Greenfield, North Sydney; four brothers, Ross, Roy, Bill (Marie) and Joe, all of North Sydney and by several nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Norman and David and by a nephew, David McKee.
The family would like to say thank you to the angels of Wentworth Court who made George’s journey with Alzheimer disease a little more bearable. We will never forget your kindness.
There will be no visitation by request. A private family graveside service will take place at Lakeside Cemetery at a later date.
Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of the W.J. Dooley Funeral Home, North Sydney.
