Marcella passed away very peacefully with her family by her side at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL. on Monday May 14th, 2018 just shy of her 86th birthday. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 66 years, Cecil Burridge. Her sons; Dana (Callista), Craig (Betty), Vaughn, Desmond (Rhonda). Her daughters; Kathy (Devon), Calla (Randy), Debbie (Truman). Her brother Calvin Holloway; 19 grandchildren; Danielle, Jeremy, Grant, Amy, Katelin, Rudy, Mark, Amanda, Justin, Sheldon, Marcy, Jordan, Zachary, Jasmine, Chelsea, Vicki, Kendra, Joshua, Cameron. 8 great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Very dear friends Audrey Caravan and Pat Durdle. She was predeceased by her son Darrell, siblings; Otto (Dorcas)(Greta) Holloway, Bessie (Abram) Twyne, Eunice (Moses) Critch, Clayton and Dorthy. Parents; Joshua and Mary Ann Holloway. In-laws; Len (Monie) and Roy (Enid) Burridge, Marie Holloway. The family would like to recognize the exceptional care she received from present and past home care givers. Marcie will be remembered for her love of family, her fantastic memory, her laughter, her concern for and support of the needs of others. Visitation will take place at Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel on Wednesday, May 16th. From 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral service will take place from Emmanuel Pentecostal Church on Thursday May 17TH., at 2pm. with Pastor White officiating. Internment to follow at the Pentecostal cemetery, Wights Rd., Deer Lake, NL. As expression of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations can be made to a charity of one’s choice in Marcella’s memory.
