It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gerald George “Bobby” Hill, aged 78, beloved husband of Susan (Power) Hill of Sydney. Gerald passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2018, in the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born in Sydney April 27, 1940, he was the son of George and Vera Hill.
He is survived by his children; stepchildren and many grandchildren; as well as sisters, Maureen Jackson, Sheila Calder, Janice MacCharles and Karen Minkoff.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a sister in infancy; sister, Brenda and brothers-in-law, John MacCharles, Clarence Calder and Leonard Jackson.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation.
A celebration of his life will be held at Sydney Memorial Chapel on Thursday, May 31 at 2 p.m., with interment to follow at Forest Haven Memorial Gardens.
