R. Paul Henderson, age 77, of Kensington, P.E.I., passed away peacefully at the Prince County Hospital in Summerside on Saturday, May 19, 2018. He was born in Margate February 26, 1941 to the late Henry and Francis (Durant) Henderson. He was a hardworking, long-time member of the Teamsters Union 362 in Alberta, but returned to his home province in 2015 to live out his days on the Island. He is survived by his children Tanya Henderson and Robert (JoyAnn) Henderson and his grandchildren Lucien, Ryland, and Mikayla. He is also survived by his brother Phil (Georgina) Henderson, his sisters Shirley Hardwick and Fran Henderson, along with his sister-in-law Elizabeth Henderson, and brother-in-law Harvey Lewis, and several nephews and nieces. He is predeceased by his brothers Ian (Alma) Henderson and Arthur Henderson, and sisters Kathleen Lewis, Vera (Harry) Caseley, and Ruby (Dawson) Hooper, and brother-in-law Bernie Hardwick. A public funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at the Davison Funeral Home Chapel, Kensington at 1:30 p.m. Interment will be held at the Margate Cemetery.
