The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Tuesday May 29, 2018 of Noreen M. Doucette, Tignish aged 84 years. She was born in St. Edward on December 17, 1933, the daughter of the late Joshua and Genevieve (DesRoches) Bernard. Dear mother to Bruce Pitre (Helena), Tignish Shore, Beverley Gaudet (Wayne), Toronto, Bernadine Gaudet (Terry), Hay River, Alberta and Clifford Pitre (Earla), St. Edward. Loving grandmother to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers and sisters Clifford Bernard, Adrian Bernard, Lucille Ellsworth, Norma Arsenault, Madeline Perry (Edward), Dianne Gaudet. She was predeceased by parents Joshua and Jane, husbands Joseph Pitre, Emmanuel DesRoches, Frankie Doucette, brothers Eddie, Wilbert and Benjamin in infancy.
