Kelli’s family are saddened to announce that she passed away at age 53 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by family, friends, and lots of love.
Kelli leaves to mourn her beloved children, Sheila and Mitchell; husband Allan; sister Holly Robinson (Ken Kristalovich) of Strathmore; brother Bruce Phinney of Sackville, NB; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Sheila & Douglas Phinney of Sackville, NB. Kelli was raised in New Brunswick and, in 1986, made the trip to Carseland, AB. She made it her home and raised her family in Strathmore.
Kelli was best known for all the love, care, and compassion she gave to residents in the Strathmore Hospital Extended Care where she worked for seven years as an HCA. She would help anyone who needed anything, anytime. Always friendly, cheery, and smiling, Kelli was generous to a fault and loved life to the fullest everyday.
A Celebration of Life was held at Harvest Healing Church on Monday, June 4, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made directly to the Wheatland & Area Hospice Society (Box 2154, Strathmore, AB, T1P 1K2).
