Passed peacefully away in the presence of his family, John Trahey of Colliers. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Mary Trahey and brother-in-law Michael Shea. Leaving with loving memories to celebrate his life are his sisters Doreen, Mary (Frank Doyle), and Sheila (Vince Doyle) and his brothers Joe (Joan), Gerard (Carrie), and Loyola. Fondly remembered by his nephews Sheldon (Erin), Mike, Shawn (Erica), Andre, Stefan, Christopher, Curtis, and Stephen (Sarah) and nieces Karyn (Scott), Stephanie (Jason), Krista (Jonathan), Aimee (Pat), Teri-Leigh (Joe) and 14 great-nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A special thank you to the Health Science Centre, 4 South A staff for the compassion and care they showed our brother. Resting at Flaherty's Memorial Funeral Home, 70 Conception Bay Highway, Conception Harbour, with visitation on Friday, June 8, from 12 p.m.- 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place from Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Colliers, on Saturday, June 9, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. Inurnment to follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Colliers.
