The death occurred peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit of the Community Hospital, O’Leary on Tuesday June 5, 2018 of Austin Doucette, St. Louis aged 82 years. He was born in St. Louis on December 4, 1935, the son of the late Bazil and Winnifred (Poirier) Doucette. Dear father to Wendy Doucette (Kevin) Tyne Valley and Vicky Perry (Clayton), St. Edward. Loving grandfather to Shawna, Keegan, Savanna and Riley and great grandfather to Austin and Jace. He is also survived by sisters Lorraine Albert (late Edlow), Wanda Doucette, Velda Gallant (George), Marie Birtley (Paul), sister-in-law Irene Doucette, brother-in-law Joey Harper and mother of the children Darlene LeClair. He was predeceased by parents Bazil and Winnifred, brother Alfred, sisters Violet, Yvonne and Clara Mae in infancy. Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road for visiting hours Friday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral will be held Saturday June 9, 2018 at the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road time of funeral to be announce later.
