Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family on June 7th, 2018, John Francis Jordan, aged 78 years. Leaving behind with cherished and loving memories his loving wife of 56 years, Mary (nee Hogan); daughters Shirley (John), Jackie (Kenneth), Rita (Leslie) and Paula; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sister Edith Branton; brother Willie (Beth); sisters-in-law: Judy Hogan (Bob) and Rita Pike (Bud); brother-in-law Jerry Hogan (Frances); sisters-in-law Carrie Hogan and Ethel Hogan; good friend Neville Day; and many other relatives and friends. The family would like to express gratitude to the Cardiac Care Unit at the Health Sciences Centre, with special thanks to the staff at the Palliative Care Unit at the L. A. Miller Centre for their compassion and care. We will greatly miss his wonderful sense of humour, jokes, and musical talents. His sense of humour remained until he was called home. The family will receive visitors on Saturday, June 9th, 2018 from 11 a.m – 9 p.m., and Sunday, June 10th, 2018 from 11 a.m – 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 11th, 2018 from the Basilica of St. John the Baptist at 9:30 a.m., with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
