1959-2018
The family invites friends to join them for the interment of Fred's ashes beside his parents, Edward and Ellen, in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Topsail Road, at 11:00 on Saturday morning, June 23rd. Fred died suddenly as the result of a heart attack at his home in Georgetown, Ontario, on February 27th. He is fondly remembered and sadly missed by his siblings: Connie Bartlett (Ted), Moncton NB; Marian Fushell (Ben), St. John’s; Aidan (Reni Power), Middle Cove; Chris (Ileane), Ottawa ON; and Monica, Peterborough ON, as well as 10 nieces and nephews. A celebration of Fred’s life was held earlier by his friends in Georgetown, attended by his brothers and sisters. In his memory, donations may be made to the Community Food Sharing Association of Newfoundland and Labrador.
