You never fully understand the meaning of “He left a huge hole in our life”, we sadly know now. Our Wayne was a very loving, kind, funny & compassionate man. We would like to thank all those who helped make his days a little brighter, and ours during our darkest days. The nurses of 4B, Palliative care especially, Ali & Erica your love and care and compassion was beyond what was expected and so appreciated. He always had a smile and a wink when he saw you. You girls dubbed him “your King” he loved it, you made his stay during Xmas happy. His best friend Fred, there are not enough thanks for being with him everyday, Linda you were a great comfort he always said how he wished he had met you years ago, Uncle Ricky, thanks for looking after our (his kids) needs. Michelle and staff at Patten Funeral Home, the service you provided was excellent. Fr. McGillivray; our readers, Paul and Norma thanks; Lily, our dear friend, your eulogy was so touching it was what we needed to hear; you spent many days talking with Wayne and you spoke to us for him. We love hearing your memories of how he helped you, made you laugh, coffee dates, please don’t ever stop. Wayne was a lovable kind and giving man. We so wish we could hear his car coming in the yard looking for a haircut, a coffee or a cold beer and always a hug, Wayne you are our heart
