Passed peacefully away the Health Sciences Centre surrounded by her loving family, Ruby Bourne, aged 83 years. Predeceased by her husband James (Jim) and daughter Carolyn Bourne. Leaving to mourn her sons Ken (Valerie) and Keith (Rebecca Saturley); grandchildren Gina (James Spence) and Steven Bourne, Sally and Oliver Bourne, and Corey (Karen Anthony-Badcock) and Clay (Sherry Guy) Badcock; great-grandchildren Dane and Reid Badcock and Parker and Emma Badcock; her many friends at Hillcrest Home especially Winnie Cave. A special thank you to the staff at Hillcrest and HSC 4SouthA for the care and compassion shown towards Ruby. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Thursday June 14 from 3-6 p.m. Funeral service will take place at the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Friday June 15 at 1:30 with interment to follow at Kenmount Road Anglican Cemetery.
