Passed peacefully away after a short illness in his 95th year. Nathan was predeceased by his wife, Melina (nee Brown) (2013); granddaughter Tami Cooney (2017); brothers Hubert, Alpheaus, Charlie and sister Levita. He is survived by daughters Gloria Newhook (Don), Linda Mitchell (Randy) and Melissa Mullin (Garry); sons Jeffrey (Janet) and Karl (Christine); 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; sister Dorothy Brenton; brother Arthur (Kitty); sister-in-law Jessie Rogers and a number of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Special thank you to the Emergency staff, Doctors, Nurses and staff of 4 South A Health Sciences Centre for all their care and attention. At Nathan’s request, cremation has taken place and no visitation will be held. A joint Funeral Service for both Nathan and Melina will be held at a later date in Trinity, Bonavista Bay.
