Dr. Brahm Bhushan Gulati

Son of the late Diwan Chand Gulati and Kesar Devi Gulati. Died peacefully at the Atlantic Baptist Nursing Home in Charlottetown on June 17, 2018, surrounded by family. Predeceased by Bharat Gulati (brother), Bhushan Gulati (brother), Pritam Gulati (brother in law). Survived by Dr. Anne Gulati (nee Senior, wife), Amrit Bhushan Gulati (brother), Sudesh Gandhi (nee Gulati – sister), Ashish Justin Gulati (son), Kati Elizabeth Gulati (nee Ross – daughter-in-law), Priya Roseanne Gulati (granddaughter), Pushpa Gulati (sister-in-law), Suraksha Gulati (sister-in-law), Santosh Gulati (sister-in-law) and Helen Sterling (Nick). A loved and respected grandfather, husband, father, and doctor, whose career led him to practice in Labrador City NL and St. John's NL, where he was chief of surgery, Montreal QC, London UK, and opened a medical clinic in Dehradun, India, with his wife. After retiring as a surgeon, worked with Veterans Affairs Canada for over 20 years in Charlottetown. Special thanks to his friends and colleagues who visited him from all over the country during the last few weeks of his life, and to his brother who called every morning from India, Panditji who came to say prayers during the last week of his life, and the staff, nurses, and doctors at the QEH and the Atlantic Baptist Nursing home for their care during the last few months of his life. Also a special thanks to his family doctor Dr. Jason Chan for his care over the last several years, and Dr. Doug Meek before him, and their medical teams. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home. At the request of the deceased, no funeral or visitation will take place, but a small memorial service will occur at a later date in Charlottetown. Please hold any donations until that time.
