Kevin Michael MacKenzie
CARD OF THANKS
KEVIN MICHAEL MACKENZIE
"GRAVY"
We, the family of the late Kevin "Gravy" MacKenzie, wish to extend our heartfelt appreciation to our relatives, friends, neighbors and colleagues for the many kindnesses, expressions of condolence and support we received during Kevin's brief illness and passing. Thank you to all who telephoned, visited, brought food to our homes, sent texts, cards, flowers, memorial donations, and monetary gifts or helped in any way. We were blessed to be surrounded by so many friends and family during this sad and stressful time.
To all those who attended the visitation and funeral service, your presence really touched our hearts and will help us through this difficult time. The overwhelming attendance at the visitation and funeral not only gave us comfort but was also such an amazing tribute to Kevin. To Kevin's coworkers at the CBRM, East Division, your presence at the service was very comforting to us and was truly an honour to his memory.
Our thanks are also extended to the doctors, nurses and staff of the ICU of the Cape Breton Regional Hospital and the QEII Health Sciences Centre. To the staff of TJ Tracey Funeral Home, who went above and beyond for our family during our recent bereavement, we extend our gratitude for their guidance and support during this most difficult time. We are most appreciative to Kevin's good friend, Bobby O'Handley, for his gift of music during the service and to the ladies of the choir for the hymns they performed. We would like to thank Father Norman MacPhee for his prayers and words of comfort to our family. To the readers, Kevin's uncle, Johnnie MacKenzie, and family friend, Michelle MacDougall, thank you for your participation in the service.
To all of Kevin's friends: Your friendship over all the years meant so much to him.
We will all miss him but will keep him in our hearts.
Sincerely,
Nancy & Family
The Michalik, MacKenzie and Weatherby Families.
