It is with great sorrow the Oldford Family announce the passing of their beloved Shawn Martin Oldford on June 12, 2018 at the age of 55 years. Originally from Corner Brook, Newfoundland, Shawn resided in Kelowna, BC and Alberta for over 35 years. His kind giving heart and humble soul will be sadly missed by his sons Jordan Oldford (ON) and Austin Schmidt (BC), brother Peter Oldford (Beatrice - NL), sister's Ellen Oldford (NS) and Sherry Oldford-Maynard (Larry - NL), and niece Alexandra Maynard (NL). Shawn was predeceased by his mother Catherine J. Oldford (2002) and father Martin J. Oldford (2016) both of Corner Brook. He also leaves to mourn many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A private family service will be planned in Corner Brook at a later date. A memorial service will be held at Kelowna's Gospel Mission with a date TBD.
