The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Monday, June 18, 2018, of Isabel MacKinnon, of Summerside, aged 94years. Born in Dover, she was the daughter of the late George and Caroline (MacLure) Whiteway. Survived by her daughters Sandra (Harvey) Wedge and Carol (Richard) Ruschiensky; grandchildren Kristen Ruschiensky (Will Guilbault), Brooke Ruschiensky (David Burns) and Mary Kate Wedge (Rob Agar); great-grandchildren Maisy and Pearl Burns; and Margot Guilbault; sister Janie McHerron; sisters-in-law Elva Whiteway, Ruth Whiteway, Mary Manuel and Phyllis Llewellyn; brother-in-law Murray MacKinnon; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Finley MacKinnon; brothers David, Freeman, Robert and Fred Whiteway; and by a brother-in-law Lewis McHerron. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where a family funeral service will be held on Thursday, at 11 a.m. Interment in Peoples Cemetery, Summerside. No visiting hours by request.
