Passed peacefully away after a lengthy battle with cancer in the presence of her loving family at the long term centre in Carbonear on Tuesday, June 26, 2018, Rhonda Ghaney of Avondale in her 53rd year. Predeceased by her father Leo, infant brothers: Gary and William, sister Joan and father-in-law Samuel. Left with fond and loving memories are her loving husband Benny, son Josh (Becki), daughter Jessica, granddaughter Maya, mother Bridget, siblings: Terry (Laurie), Christine Flynn (Rick), Lenus, Thelma (Kenneth), Kim Rose (Wayne), Leo (Gloria), Tina Cahill (Danny), Monica (Tony), Pete (Brenda) and Tracey Bishop (Tony), mother-in-law Ann, brothers-in-law: Gary (Denise) and David, sister-in-law Darlene Ghaney (Grant), many nieces, nephews and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Dunphy’s Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will take place at 10:30 am on Friday, June 29, 2018 from Assumption Church, Avondale. Cremation to follow with Inurnment in Assumption Cemetery, Avondale.
