We the family of Ron Sutherland wish to extend our appreciation for the love and support shown to us at the time of our loss. Thank you to those who phoned, dropped by, brought food, sent sympathy cards, Mass offerings, enrollments, flowers and made generous donations to various charities. We are grateful for those who visited at his wake and who attended his Funeral Mass. We deeply appreciate the faithful care given to him over many years by Dr. Paul Murphy. Thank you to the nursing staff of CCU at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital who cared for Ron during his illness. Thank you to Dr. John Rogers for his support during Ron’s illness. We wish to thank Father MacLellan who anointed Ron with the Sacrament of the Sick. We express our deepest appreciation to Father Bill Burke for celebrating, and Father Tom MacNeil, Father Douglas Murphy and Father Al Maroun for concelebrating Ron’s Funeral Mass; and to Father Tom MacNeil for his wonderful homily. Thank you to the choir of Saint Marguerite Bourgeoys and to Neil MacPhee for his beautiful singing of the Responsorial Psalm.
