Passed peacefully away at home on Friday, June 29th, 2018, Clayton Ross Cull, aged 90 years. Predeceased by his parents Abel and Martha Cull of St. Anthony, as well as brother Major Harold Cull (Winnifred) and three sisters: Kharis, Selma (Roy) and Blanche (Fred). Leaving behind with grieving hearts, fond and loving memories his wife Marie (nee Andrews) of 66 years; daughter Wanda Pike (Ed); two grandchildren whom he dearly loved Michelle Brett (David) and Matthew Brett (Nicky); three brothers: Gordon Cull (Fern, deceased) in Ont., Glosson Cull (Rita, deceased) in St. Anthony and Melvin Cull in Ont.; one sister Verna Waller (Bill, deceased) in Ont.; devoted nephew, friend and confidante Philip Cull (Christine); brother-in-law and fishing buddy Howard Underhay; sister-in-law Irene Andrews; wonderful neighbors and friends Ted and Bernadette Parnell who made sure there were plenty of treats on the table; friend and homecare worker Angie Earle (Scotty); plus a number of nieces, nephews and friends. Ross was a member of the Mazol Shriners, Avalon Lodge number 2, and Pleasantville Legion branch 56. Retired from the Royal Canadian Army, 56 Field Squad as W.O. and from Brookfield Ice Cream with 44-year service. Ross loved the out doors, fishing and hunting. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mazol Shriners for the Hospital for Burnt and Cripple Children. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Saturday, June 30th, Sunday, July 1st from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will take place on Monday, July 2nd at 1 pm from Wesley United Church, interment to follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
