Richard Cullen

Passed away suddenly at home on Thursday, June 28, 2018, surrounded by his loving family, Richard Cullen (Cully Hayes), age 69 years. Predeceased by his great aunt and uncle Pauline and James Hayes, who raised him from a young age; parents Michael Cullen and Loretta Dwyer; brothers Lewis Cullen and George Hayes and sister Anne Blyde; his dear friend and sister-in-law Lorraine Downey (who is awaiting him with a cup of Tetley tea with Carnation milk); sister-in-law Mary Hayes; brothers-in-law Eric Elliott, Steve Murphy and Bob Ransom. Leaving to mourn this great loss is his loving and devoted wife Patricia Sullivan Cullen; his deeply loved children Rick Ryall (Angela Stoyles); Lena Cullen (David Courvoiser) and Michael Cullen; the apples of his eyes, his grandchildren, Grace Marie and Faith Skylar Ryall, Keaden Michael Barnes and Aria Paige Courvoisier. Also sharing in this loss is his sister Mildred (Millie) Cullen Legault; his Hayes brothers and sisters Tom (Marcella), Margaret Groves, Alice Ransom, Rose Hayes, Barbara Dunne (Francis), Dennis Hayes and Patsy Brewer (Mike); sisters and brothers-in-law Maureen Sullivan (Hugh), Brenda Elliott, David Downey (Sharon Ryan), Carole Squires (Ron Taylor), Sharon Cullen (Terry), Bonnie Murphy, Paul Reddy, Heather Parrell (Chris) and John Sullivan (Diane); loyal friends Doris Kirby, Bernard (Chink) Brien, Steve Hayes, Tommy Hayes, Georgie Hayes, Jimmy Groves, Jamie Brewer, Carl (Buster) Osmond, Dennis Brake, Stan Carter, Eugene Ryan and other cherished relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road with visitation on Monday and Tuesday from 12 noon – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Teresa’s Church. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. No flowers by request. Donations in Richard’s memory may be made to the War Amps.

God saw you getting tired,
