Delores Lynk
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alma Delores Lynk, age 63, our beloved sister and aunt, on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at the Northside Community Guest Home, North Sydney.
Delores was born in Glace Bay, May 9, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Harvey Clarke and Lila Lynk. Delores had a great sense of humor, enjoyed crocheting, loved when her family would take her on outings to concerts, shopping, or a favourite restaurant.
Delores is survived by her special sisters, Eileen Hicks (Doug) and Donalda (Darren) Robertson, both of Bras d’Or, sisters, Barbara (James) Proctor, Glace Bay, Carmella (Dwayne) Wenzell, New Germany and Norma Jean (Jason) Herridge, Bras d’Or; her brothers, Norman (Diane) Lynk, Bras d’Or, Jerry (Shelley) Lynk, Glace Bay, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Delores was predeceased by nephews, Jeff and Robbie.
The family would like to thank Dr. Mary Hutchison and the nursing staff of Joseph Hall, at the Northside Community Guest Home for the care and compassion given to Delores during her time there.
By request there will be no visitation. A private family graveside service will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery, Bras d’Or.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the W.J. Dooley Funeral Home, 107 Pleasant St., North Sydney.
