Peacefully on Sunday, July 1, 2018, at Prince Edward Home in Charlottetown, at the age of 93. Predeceased by her husband of forty-four years, William Harold (Budd) Steves of Riverview. Ruth will live on in the hearts of her daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Stephen Alford of Charlottetown; son John Steves (late Patricia Anderson) of Winnipeg; granddaughters Megan Alford (Jesse Waldman) of Vancouver and Lindsay Choo (Raymond) of Burnaby; dear friends Kathy and Gilmour Glencross of Fredericton; brother Gordon Eagles of Riverglade; sisters-in-law Geraldine Eagles of Sussex and Beulah Eagles of Kelowna and her many nieces and nephews. The family extends heartfelt thanks for the kind and compassionate care provided by the staff of Prince Edward Home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Belvedere Funeral Home in Charlottetown.
