Patricia ‘Patsy’ MacDonald

With heavy hearts, the family announce the passing of Patricia ‘Patsy’ Valerie MacDonald (nee Musgrave), 71 years, she passed peaceful on July 9, 2018 at Maison McCulloch Hospice with loving family by her side.
Patsy was beloved and cherished mother to Lori (Vincent Doyle), John, and Amanda (Richard Greaves). Loving grandmother to Jordan, Justin, Ashlyn, Sophia, and Marty. Devoted sister to LeRoy (Georgie), and Janet (Ralph Ivey). Loving aunt to Tanya, Crystal, Erica, Emily, Aaron and great nieces and nephews Gracie, Gavin, Ella, Owen and Chloe.
She was predeceased by her parents, John and Dorothy (Dunstan) Musgrave.
Patsy was born in Halifax, NS. on February 14, 1947 and moved with her parents at a young age to North Sydney, NS. She later relocated to Sudbury, ON to be closer to her daughters and grandchildren. Patsy was an amazing mother and grandmother, she was happiest when she was surrounded by family and loved watching all the grandchildren grow and was their biggest fan when watching them in their various sports and activities. She will also be remembered for her amazing baking, especially by her sons-in-law who loved her cinnamon rolls.
A very special thank you to the nurses and doctors at Health Sciences North and Northeast Cancer Centre. Also to the amazing staff and volunteers at Maison McCulloch Hospice for their compassionate and professional care. Also to all of her loyal and devoted friends near and far, who helped in so many wonderful ways.
At Patsy’s request, there will be no visitation or service. A private family memorial will take place at a later date.
