Peacefully at her home in Moncton, N.B. of Mary Frances Gallant in her 66th year. Mary passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2018 and was formally from North Rustico, P.E.I. Mary was the special friend of Terry McCaie. Born August 31, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Anna (Whalen) Gallant. Mary is also survived by Margaret LeClair (Terry), Francis (Angela), James (Chris Hogan), Lorraine and Tara. Mary also leaves aunts and uncles, Jim and Sharon, Bill and Vera, Mary, Amelda, Pearl and many cousins and friends. She is also survived by her loving nieces and nephews Darren, James, Marc, Madison, Erika, Neil, Steve, Ryan W, Paul, Ryan M, Tracey, grand nieces, grand nephews and their families. She is also survived by in-laws, Gloria Wallace (Gerard Richard), Paul (Juliet) and Diane. Mary was predeceased by her much loved Lionel and Cecilia McCaie (Terry’s Parents). Visitation and funeral mass will be held at Stella Maris Church, North Rustico, on Saturday, July 14, 2018. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Stella Maris Church. Funeral mass will follow at 2 p.m. After mass, there is visitation to the graveyard. Family and friends are invited to a reception in the church following the service. If so desired, memorial donations can be made to the Cancer Society, Red Cross Disaster Relief or another chosen charity. Due to severe allergies, please refrain from wearing scented products.
