It is with great sadness, we the family of Catherine Agnes MacLeod, announce her passing on July 10, 2018 at Highland Manor Nursing Home, Neil’s Harbour.
Born in Cape North she was the daughter of the late Murdock and Jennie (Burton) MacLeod.
She resided at the family home in Cape North until she moved to Highland Manor where she has lived the last ten years.
Catherine is survived by her brother, Donald (Ruth) and her sister, Murdena Podanovitch (David) of Cape North; one niece and three nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Annabelle, and brothers, Douglas and Malcolm MacLeod.
Catherine loved music, singing, animals, and her special doll, Susie.
Sincere thanks are expressed to all the staff at Highland Manor for the excellent care and kindness given to our sister over the years.
There will be no visitation. A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. on July 17, 2018 at MacPherson Cemetery with Sylvia Fitzgerald officiating. A reception will follow at the United Church Hall, Cape North.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Catherine’s memory may be made to Highland Manor, Neil’s Harbour, or a charity of choice.
