Ann “Annie” Krakowetz
March 22, 1924 – July 11, 2018

Annie was born in Western Ukraine on March 22, 1924 to Fanny and Andrew Luchkanych. Annie met and married the love of her life Steve Krakowetz on October 26, 1947. Annie will be forever missed by her children: Andy (Jeannette) Krakowetz and their children: Melissa, Chantel (Brett) Trost and Scott; Mary Ann Harmatiuk and her sons: Brian and Kevin (Tammy Locke) and three great grandchildren Bryce, Carter and Isabella; Sandra (John) Zimmer and their children, Jayden and Amanda (Eric) Upton, great grandchildren Harlyn and Emmett; brother in law Don Samoil; numerous nieces and nephews. Annie is predeceased by her husband: Steve in 1990; son, Raymond in 1960; parents: Andrew in 1990, Fanny in 1996, sisters, Mary Samoil and Jenny (Paul) Hankewich as well as many relatives and friends. Funeral Divine Liturgy will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at St. George’s Ukrainian Catholic Church with Fr. Vasyl Kravchuk officiating. Interment will be at South Hill Cemetery.
