Passed peacefully away at Carbonear Hospital on Friday, July 13, 2018, Dorothy Downey of Avondale in her 80th year. Predeceased by her husband, Michael and son David. Left with loving memories are her granddaughters: Sarah and Samantha, brothers: Richard Power (Agnes) and Leo Power (Martina), and a large circle of relatives and friends especially the residents and staff of Collingwood Downs. Resting at Dunphy’s Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation on Sunday from 7 - 9 pm. Funeral Mass will take place at 10:30 am on Monday, July 16, 2018 from Assumption Church, Avondale.
