Jane Deborah “Debbie” Anderson

BRAESHORE – Jane Deborah “Debbie” Anderson, 65, Braeshore, passed away peacefully into the waiting arms of her Lord, Wednesday, July 11, 2018, in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow, with her loving family by her side. Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of Elizabeth (Gillingwater), Trenton; and the late Robert J. Gladney. Debbie shared her faith in God with others as a Eucharist Minister at Christ the King Roman Catholic Church, Trenton for several years. Her creativity and talent extended from her heart to her hands to those she loved from knitting and crocheting, for which she won many awards, to entertaining her family with her guitar playing. She took great pride in her cooking skills, her time in the green house and gardens. Flowers were her passion and gift. Debbie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be sadly missed by all who loved her. She was known to her grandchildren as “Nannie D”. Surviving are her husband, Ronald, Braeshore; daughters, Rayna (Mike) Thomson, Stratford, P.E.I.; Cynthia (Gerald) Keay, Westville; Rhonda (Glenn) Rehill, Trenton; Donna (Erick) Cabrera, Antigonish; Jillian (Thomas) Boone, New Glasgow; sons, Bob (Kim) Withers, Moncton; Paul (Donna) Anderson, Dartmouth; grandchildren, James, Justin, Madelyne, Olivia, Emily, Owen, Nathan, Johnathan, Tyler, Sarah; sister, Janice (Bruno) Dusconi, Trenton; brother, Robert, New Glasgow; many nieces and nephews, and fur baby, Maggie. She was predeceased by her father, Robert J. Gladney. The family will receive visitors 6-8 p.m. Sunday, July 15, 2018, in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow, from where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday with Father Thomas MacNeil presiding. Interment will be in Seaview Cemetery, Pictou. Donations may be made in Debbie’s memory to Aberdeen Health Foundation Palliative Care Unit Endowment, New Glasgow. www.pkmacdonald.ca
