It is with broken hearts that we, the family, announce the peaceful passing of ALICE NORMORE (Fowler) at the Labrador South Health Centre, Forteau, NL on Tuesday, June 26th, 2018 at the age of 88 years. Leaving to mourn with cherished heart filled memories are children: Beryl (Norman), Audrey (Clifford), Celestine, Deborah (Calvin), Rowena (Garf), Elvin (Jackie) and Michelle (Leon); grandchildren: Merlin, Dwayne, Coretta, Quentin, Deidre, Nicholas and Jada; extended grandchildren: Ivana and Yali; great-grandchildren: Dustin, Danielle, Jayden, Emerson, Nathan and Hannah; extended great-grandchild: Aiden; great-great-grandchild Gabriella; sisters: Clarissa Fowler, Phoebe Normore, Sarah Barney (Clarus), Lily Buckle (Jack), Mildred Normore (Frank), Lenora Buckle (Clifford); brothers: Ken (Elizabeth); Arthur (Honora) and Warren (Gertie). Alice was predeceased by her husband Hayward, parents William and Effie Fowler, sons-in-law Wayne Earle and Leslie Chubbs, brothers-in-law Clyde Fowler and Claude Normore. Visitation took place at St. Paul’s Anglican Church in L’Anse Au Loup from where the funeral service was held on Friday, June 29th, 2018 at 2pm officiated by Rev. Nath Larkin and Rev. Norman Cutler.
