The family of the late Alexander LeBlanc express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all who attended the funeral service at St. Joseph’s Church, Bras d’Or on June 23, 2018.
A special thank you to Fr. Peter McLeod, pastor for officiating and for reflecting on Alex’s love of nature and fishing in Margaree. Thanks to Deacon Roy Smith, the readers son Mark, nephew Brian, the offertory gifts Selica and Gregor, the altar servers Urban Day, Bill Day, and Dev Vickers, and to the organist and choir. A sincere thank you to the parish CWL for hosting the luncheon.
We also extend a sincere thank you to Dr. D. Kohlsmith for his care and compassion shown to Alex for many years, and to Karen Pero, Office Assistant. Thank you to the Paramedics, E.R. staff, and Dr. Salas for outstanding care, to all staff on 4 West for excellent care and compassion.
Thank you to the private home care staff, Mary, Wendy and Gloria, to the C.B. County Homemakers, to New Dawn Home Care, and to Continuing Care especially Isabel R. Tobin, Care Co-Ordinator.
Sincere thanks and appreciation to relatives, friends, neighbours, Alex’s retired co-workers, especially his E.R. co-workers for surrounding us with love, support, and friendship during this sad time. Many thanks to all who phoned, visited our home, brought food and travelled to be with us.
Thank you for the Mass offerings, enrollments, memorial donations, cards, and flower arrangements.
To Manning Jobes and Ian Robertson, Jobes Funeral Home, your kindness and compassion during this difficult time was greatly appreciated.
Each act of kindness will always be remembered with appreciation and heartfelt thanks.
