In January 2018, following a brief illness in Calgary, Alberta, Frances passed away at the age of 50. He is survived by his sons Devin and Ethan as well as siblings Sophus, Shirley, David, Roger, Jean, Maureen, Dean and Kevin. He was predeceased by his parents Minnie (Phelan) and Lawrence Kelly, as well as sister Arlene in infancy. Cremation has taken place at McInnis Holloway Funeral Homes. Graveside service will be held at St. Michaels Parish Church, Iona, PEI on August 3, 2018 at 2 p.m. If friends so desire memorial tributes may be offered to St. Michaels Cemetery Fund or Atlantic Baptist Nursing Home. He will be missed.
