The death occurred at the Provincial Palliative Care Centre, Charlottetown, on Sunday, July 29, 2018, of Anne Newson (nee Donnell), beloved wife of Alden Newson, of Cornwall, aged 75. Anne was the loving mother of Todd (Lucie), Tricia and Tracey (deceased); grandmother of Annika and Alexia; Mike Morrison, Myranda Newson and Ryan Johnston; Cody Newson and Kaitlyn Newson-Forrest; and great-grandmother of Brooklyn Stretch. She is survived by her sister, Dorothy Shaw; sister-in-law, Sandy Donnell; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Besides her daughter Tracey, Anne was predeceased by her parents, Amedia and Marion (Saunders) Donnell; brother, Grant; and brother-in-law, Ivan. Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation Thursday, August 2, 2018, from 6 - 8 p.m. No funeral by personal request.
