Passed peacefully away at Glenbrook Lodge on Tuesday, July 31, 2018, at age 76. Predeceased by his loving wife Barbara; his parents Donald and Alice Griffiths; in-laws Pearce and Flora Lush; sisters: Jill and Joanie Griffiths; sister-in-law Edith (Clar) Wareham; brothers-in-law Calvin Lush and Leonard Pike. Left with fond and loving memories are his daughters: Valerie (Andy) Woodford, and Sheri (Russell) Lawlor; grandchildren: Ashley, Tyler, Jerome, and Russell Jr. (Brittany); great-grandchildren Carson and Elliott; brothers: Brian (Bev) Griffiths, Barry (Melanie) Griffiths and Bob (Mary) Griffiths; sisters: Dolly Pike, Ann (Gord) Escott, and Donna (Barry) Gullage; brothers-in-law: Roy (Lorraine) Lush, and Lloyde (Jo) Lush; sister-in-law Janette Lush; also a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends and bingo buddies. Special thanks to the nursing staff at Glenbrook Lodge for their care and affection. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl, on Wednesday, August 1st, from 2:00pm-9pm; and on Thursday, August 2nd, from 12:00pm-4:00pm. Funeral service to be held at Holy Family Parish in Paradise on Friday, August 3rd, at 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the Griffiths family.
