Roderick Kerr 'Roddie' Daigle

We the family of Roderick Kerr “Roddie” Daigle 37, regret to announce the passing of our dear son and brother on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at home, surrounded by his loving family.
Roddie was the light in all our lives. He always had a smile for everyone, especially his dad and only wanted love in return. We believe Roddie received all his patience from his beautiful Mom Kerry before her passing, way too soon in life.
Roddie loved to go for drives, trips to Wal-Mart, watching his dad and brother working out in the yard and shop. His sister Cheryl would come and give him a haircut, and we would all make a fuss over him.
Roddie proved there is nothing stronger in life than love. Although his time on earth was short, it sure was special.
Roddie is survived by his ever faithful Dad, John; sister, Cheryl ( George MacDonald ); brother, John Vincent ( Paula O'Brien); nephew, Mitchell MacDonald; many aunts, uncles, cousins, family friends and special caregiver, Krystal Anderson.
He was predeceased by his mother, Kerry (MacAulay) Daigle; grandparents, Mae and Cliff Daigle and Florence and Kerr MacAulay.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, Glace Bay. There will be no visitation and funeral services will be held at a later date.
