Margaret Emma Myers
It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Margaret Emma (Lundrigan) Myers, surrounded by her loving family on August 10, 2018, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital after a long battle with cancer. Born on October 12, 1926, in Sydney, ‘Margie’ devoted her life to her husband Aubrey, 7 children, 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, and even fostered several children in her younger years. Mom enjoyed her “spare time” outdoors weeding her garden or taking walks. Knitting and crocheting were her true passions. She was a warm, kind and caring individual who always put others first.
Mom is survived by her brothers, Fred and Allister; sister, Belle; daughters, Shannon MacLeod, Nancy (Gerard) MacDougall and Audrey (Brent) Fleet; sons, Tony (Karin), Larry (Anne) and Mitch. Predeceased by her parents, George and Alfreda Lundrigan; husband, Aubrey; daughter, Debby, and brothers, Ed, John, Bill and Gordie, and sisters, Dorothy and Louise. If our love could have saved you, you would still be with us. Sleep peacefully our butterfly. As per Mom's wishes, there will be no visitation, Cremation has taken place.
