Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family on August 14th, 2018. Predeceased by her mother and father Catherine and Francis Mahoney of Tilting, brothers: Michael and Patrick, sisters: Maud Spurrell and Clara Moore and special nieces Sheila Mahoney and Gail (Sissy) Moore. Left to celebrate her life: partner Pauline Paddock, special friend Claire Thistle, nieces: Alison Moore and Susan Piercey, to whom Linda was both an aunt and a second mom. Siblings: Herbert (Gladys), Marie (Dan) Foley, Jim (Marlene), Anthony (Ellen), Gary (Helen) and a large circle of family and friends. Linda took great pride in her 25 years of service as a psychiatric nurse at the Waterford Hospital. Her loving and generous nature will be remembered by all who knew her. The family would like to thank the staff of HSC and the Cancer Clinic for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Linda's name to the SPCA. The family will be receiving visitors at Caul's Funeral Home from 7-9pm on Wednesday, August 15th, and 2-4pm and 7-9pm on Thursday, August 16th. Funeral service will take place at St. Teresa's Parish on Friday, August 17th at 9:30am.
