Kevin William Jones aged 86, born 1931 (St. John’s) and passed peacefully away August 20, 2018, at Glenbrook Lodge, surrounded by family. He was predeceased by his wife Mary; daughter Gladys Maddigan and brothers Walter and Reg. Leaving to mourn his son, Dr. Gordon Jones (Allynne), of Palm Coast, Florida, Phyllis Fowler (Dennis) and Beverly Hanlon. He also leaves to mourn six grandchildren, Kerri (Jones) Nugent (JJ Nugent); Andrea Totten (Kyle Totten) of Palm Coast, Florida, Dr. Christopher Jones (Dr. Emily Meltzer) of Nashville, Tennessee, Tim Jones (Estrella Kim) of Boston, Massachusetts, Heather (Maddigan) Braybrook (Ryan Braybrook), Jennifer Maddigan (Chris Osmond), Jessica Hanlon and five great-grandchildren, Hunter Nugent, Audrey Totten, Theodore Totten, Dalia Jones and Zoey Jones and sister Shirley Dinham and Ruby Anstey. Special thanks to the staff of M&J Personal Care Home and especially to Glenbrook Lodge for their exceptional care. The family will accept visitors at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Wednesday August 22 from 12 Noon-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place from the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Thursday August 23 at 10 a.m. with interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery Kenmount Road.
