Marie Gladney in her 64th year passed peacefully away at the Miller Center on Aug. 21, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by her parents Rita & Francis Gladney; brothers: Martin, Michael and Phillip; and sister Angela. Survived by her best friend and loving husband Tom; her adoring children: Kerry, Danielle (Rick Klyne), Dennis and Philip (Jennifer); her precious grandchildren: Kendra and Kyle Snow, Rachel and Myla Klyne and Olivia & Dennis Churchill (little D); loving sisters: Maureen, Leona (Paul), Rita, Carolanne, Catherine (Wilson) & Elizabeth. Special sisters-in-law Barbara and Gail; brothers-in-law Michael & Perry (Judy); best friend and sissy Marion Churchill (Gordon); close friends from the Churchill Family: Loretta, Sharon and Corina; also, close friends: Annie & Cyril Churchill and Cathy Taylor (Leduc, AB). Marie will be missed by a large circle of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Cremation has already taken place. There will be no visitation. Funeral service to be held at Holy Rosary Parish, Portugal Cove, on Saturday, August 25th at 2 p.m. A celebration of Marie’s life will take place after the service at the RC Social Centre next to the church.
