It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Bethina Avril Hill (nee LeMoine) announces her passing at the Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre in Port aux Basques, NL on Sunday, August 19th, 2018 at the age of 80 years. Born in Rose Blanche, NL. Bethina was the daughter of the late Philip and Jessie LeMoine (nee Munden). She was also predeceased by her husband John Wallace Hill in 2015; father and mother-in-law Wallace and Dora Hill (nee Keeping); daughter Elizabeth Hill; brothers Nathan (Joyce) LeMoine, Gerald LeMoine, Kenneth LeMoine; sisters-in-law Elsie, Annie, Bertha, and Gertrude (Sam) Pink. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her loving son Larry (Marilyn) Hill; daughters Jo Ann (David) Kettle both of Port aux Basques, NL, Mona (Ken) Bennett of Halifax, NS; grandchildren Jonathon (Diane) Kettle of Halifax, NS, Steven (Crissi) Hill of St. John's, NL, Krystle White of Port aux Basques, NL, Darby Campbell of Stellarton, NS, Tina (Tyler) Bennett of Halifax, NS; great-grandchildren Charlotte, Celeste, Jordyn, Addison, Taylor, Shelby, Sophia; sisters Hazel Ringer of Labrador City, Ruby (Gerald) Billard of Louisburg, NS, Virginia (Cecil) Macleod of North Sydney, NS; brother Wilfred (Francis) LeMoine of Rose Blanche; sisters-in-law Mabel LeMoine of Port aux Basques, NL, Betty (Lloyd) Horwood of Lewisporte, NL; nephew-in-law Gordon (Myrtle) Hill of Toronto, Ont plus an extended family of nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation was held on Monday, August 20th, 2018 from 7-9 pm continued on Tuesday, August 21st, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at East Haven Funeral Home Inc. in Port aux Basques, NL. The funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 22nd, 2018 at 2 pm from St. Paul's Anglican Church in Grand Bay, NL officiated by Rev. Clayton Billard and Rev. Jeffrey Petten with interment followed at St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, TCH, NL. Flowers are graciously accepted or donations in Bethina's memory can be made to the charity of one's choice.
