The death occurred peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, August 23, 2018 of Margaret Sarah Hughes (Hennessey) at the Garden Home in her 101st year. Beloved wife of the late Maurice “Bud” Hughes. Loving mother of Larry (Paula) and Philip (Nancy). Cherished Granny Marg of Phil (Michelle), Terry, Lori Visser (Phil), Nora Cummins (Nik), Lornie (Amy), Amy Robertson (Lucas), Justin (Mary Ellen), Shawn (Laurie) and predeceased by her grandson Danny. Great-grandmother to fifteen children. Beloved sister of Rosalie Connolly (Pat, deceased) and Bernadine Carter (Mack). Predeceased by her parents Lawrence and Catherine (Costello) Hennessey, siblings Mame, twin sister Catherine, Sister Anne PBS, Sister Shirley PBS, Michael, Maurice, Lornie, Raymond and three brothers who died in infancy; Joseph, Lorne and Michael. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home until Monday at 1:45 p.m. then to St. Pius X Church for funeral mass at 2 p.m. Interment in Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
