DeSOUSA, Karen Louise (nee Marlyn) September 20,1965 - August 16, 2018. Peacefully and with dignity, Karen passed away after a courageous battle with cancer surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her adoring husband Roy William and her two step-sons Ryan Anthony and Matthew William, along with her beloved parents Cliff and Linda Gavel, her mother-in-law Natalia and her sisters Sandra (Robert) Gennette and Deborah (Richard) Comeau and step-brothers, Cliff J., Craig and Corey Gavel. Karen will be missed by her nieces and nephews, Erich, Emma, Justin and Alexa. Special thanks to the staff at the Juravinski Hospital and St. Joseph's Hospital for their exceptional support and care.
