Age 100 Years
Passed peacefully away surrounded by her family at St. Clare’s Hospital on August 28, 2018. Predeceased by her one true love, her husband Earl, parents Thomas and Selina Riggs, brothers: Jack Jr., Leonard and Roland. Leaving to mourn children: Glenn (Charmaine) and Marion, grandchildren: Lindsey, Christopher (Courtney), Melissa (Chris), Amanda and Steven; great-grandchildren: Marcus, Nataly, Michelle, Jonas, Wyatt, Hannah and Scarlett, special friends: Monica Murphy, Elizabeth (Tony) Lundrigan, Johnny Harte and Colleen; fur-babies: Jem, Louie and Shadow. Carrie lived a vibrant life enjoying dancing, singing, tending to her flower bed and she loved a hot cup of tea with toast. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Wednesday, August 29 from 7pm-9pm and Thursday, August 30 from 10am-12noon, 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm. Funeral service will be held from St. Thomas Anglican Church on Friday, August 31 at 10am, interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
